Breathing In Water - Online Flute Concert in Nature Settings
A Duet Between Music and Nature
"There's a flutist playing in that kayak!" said a C&O Canal biker who passed filming for this concert. Flutist Carrie Rose breathes by lakes, in a tree, and on a canal with collaborators Chris McFarlane (bassoon), Lisa Cella (flute), Szu-Yi Li (keyboard). Winged collaborators are heard as well: While perched in a tree at dusk, Rose's alto flute mingles with (recordings of) owls and their haunting calls.
